West Nile Virus in Mobile

Two human cases of West Nile Virus are confirmed in Mobile County.

Health officials broke the news today.
They're the first human cases of the virus reported in Mobile County this year. Health officials say folks should reduce exposure to mosquitoes by using repellent, draining standing water, and staying indoors at dusk and dawn.

Residents who need help with mosquito control can visit the health department's online portal.
