Montgomery man convicted of human trafficking

A 50-year-old Montgomery man is facing charges of human trafficking and electronic solicitation of a child according to authorities.

Thursday’s court documents show Leon Johnson knowingly solicited a child to engage in sexual servitude.

He is also accused of traveling around the state of Alabama in an attempt to engage in sexual servitude with a minor.

Johnson is in the Montgomery County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.

After graduating from Alabama State University, she worked as a production assistant at the local NBC affiliate, WSFA-TV.
