MFR Lieutenant recovering from accident

The Montgomery Fire/Rescue Department released a statement about Lt. James W McMicken who was struck by a vehicle while working on a separate vehicle accident.

Officials say McMicken is doing significantly better; adding he is now able to sit up and talk with his family and visitors and also has a good appetite.

McMicken is waiting to be moved to a regular room in the hospital.
