We kick-off our Friday Night Lights Week 3 Playoff Review with Autauga Academy taking down Escambia academy 23-6, defending 6A state champion Pinson Valley ends Muscle Shoals perfect record eliminating them by a score of 26-14, Thompson sends bitter rival Hoover home packing 35-21, Reeltown despite the turmoil of the season keeps on rolling beating Long 41-22, T.R. Miller outlasts previously one loss Flomaton 14-12, and Oxford keeps their hopes alive by overcoming Clay Chalkville 20-13.

In other notable games: Opelika over Hueytown 45-24, Central of Clay County 43 Madison County 15, Wellborn stays alive over Randolph 27-20, Ariton falls to Leroy 35-24, and Powerhouse Central Phenix City body bags Auburn 38-0.

In our somebody’s 0 must go games the battle between undefeateds Fyffe blows out Red Bay 45-6 and Lanett beats down Isabella 41-21.

As for our WVAS Games of the week our two remaining River Region Teams still vying for a ship came up short first with Cinderella losing her slipper as Park Crossing ends their magical run falling to Spanish Fort 28-21 and previously undefeated Catholic gets Molly Hopped by UMS-Wright 21-0.
