Angier Johnson, known as “The Gospel Messenger,” has served as host of Sunday Morning Gospel since 1995. Her blend of contemporary, traditional, and vintage gospel has made the program a favorite among listeners and online audiences alike.

Following more than 30 years of service as a Public Information Manager in state government, Angier now enjoys retirement while continuing to remain active in the gospel music industry. She serves as a panelist for the Gospel Top 40 airplay chart and lends her expertise as an influencer and consultant to independent gospel artists.

Deeply committed to community engagement, she contributes to numerous outreach efforts. Angier is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and a devoted member of New Home Baptist Church in Mt. Meigs, where she serves on the Assimilation Ministry.

A 21-year breast cancer survivor, Angier treasures her faith and the love of her family. She shares life’s journey with her husband, Levis Foster, and her sons, Caleb and Peyton Johnson, and regards them as constant reminders of what truly matters most.
