In Honor of the legacy of Queen Mother Amelia Boynton Robinson, Mother of the Voting Rights Movement in Alabama, 20 Million Women Strong (an Alabama-based 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization) and our partnering organizations, are CALLING ALL WOMEN (of ALL Ages) and the men who love and support us, to walk with us in solidarity across the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama on September 28, 2024 at 1pm!
Audri Scott Williams, founder of 20MWS and appointed by QM Robinson to carry her legacy forward says, “This is a GET OUT THE VOTE (GOTV) initiative. We welcome ALL WOMEN to join us! OUR VOTES AND OUR VOICES MATTER!!"
There will be space available for information sharing from 11AM to 12:45PM, with a concert immediately following the Women’s March, from 3pm to 4pm (Performing artists will be announced soon)!
Coming from Atlanta? Then join the "ATL to SEL VOTERCADE", a day-trip bus ride designed to bring women of all ages from Atlanta, GA to Selma, AL to participate in the event.
