A Republican Senator wants to send pro-Palestinian protesters to jail. Alabama lawmaker Tommy Tuberville said on Fox Business Network that "hateful, free speech" should not be tolerated at universities and he accused pro-Palestinian protesters of "preaching from Hamas."

This after recent Columbia University graduate and Palestinian Mahmoud Khalil was arrested and sent to a detention facility in Louisiana for demonstrating in support of Gaza.
