As we prepare ourselves to gorge on Turkey, Dressing, Mac and Cheese, Ham, Cranberry Sauce, and much much more High school coaches and players are preparing for what they hope is an appearance in their class’s state championship games.
We get started this week with undefeated Fyffe at 13-0 preparing to host 12-1 Collinsville, T.R. Miller at 10-4 take a short trip to face 8-4 Mobile Christian, 13-1 Pleasant Grove is at 11-3 Briarwood Christian, 11-3 Central of Clay County takes on 11-2 Mortimer Jordan, and 11-2 Leroy is at 12-1 Reeltown.
In other notable games: 12-0 Lanett is at 12-1 Sweet Water, 12-1 Wellborn vs 12-1 Piedmont, undefeated UMS-Wright at 12-0 is home vs. 10-3 Andalusia, 13-0 Mars Hill at 11-2 Pickens County, and 9-4 Anniston is at 12-2 Jacksonville.
In our WVAS game of the week defending 6A state champion Pinson Valley at 10-2 travels to take on 12-1 Oxford.
On Wednesday Dec. 4th Powerhouse Central Phenix City takes a trip to face 11-1 Thompson.
