November 19,2008 – Montgomery resident, Brent Springford, Jr. , has plead guilty in the beating deaths of his. Springford was charged in the Thanksgiving 2004 murders of his parents, Winston and Charlotte Springford, both 62. Even though Springford plead guilty to five counts of capital murder in the case, he must still stand trial on December 3rd.
The weather outside is frightful...National Weather Service Forecaster Kevin Laws says temperatures dipped down to 24 degrees in Montgomery. That's near a record of 24 degrees set back in 1903.
