Commemorative Items for Ticket Holders Who Never Made It To the Inauguration

Washington, D.C. –
WASHINGTON (AP) - Ticket holders who never made it to Barack
Obama's inauguration are going to get a few commemorative items.
Thousands of ticket holders were kept waiting in a tunnel below
the National Mall on Tuesday and never made it to the ceremony.
Others said access to the Capitol grounds was cut off.
The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies said
that those with blue, silver and purple tickets who didn't make it
will receive copies of the swearing-in invitation and program,
photos of Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, and a color print of
the ceremony.
Committee spokeswoman Carole Florman said people should check
the committee's Web site early next week for instructions on
claiming their items.
