Army Helicopter Crash Claims A Life

Geneva, Alabama –
GENEVA, Ala. (AP) - The U.S. Army says one of its helicopters
has crashed while on a training flight in a rural area in Alabama,
and officials at Fort Rucker say a crew member was killed and
another was injured.
The Army said in statement that the crash of the TH-67
helicopter from Fort Rucker's Army Aviation Center occurred Monday
afternoon near the High Falls Stage Field training area, about 10
miles south-southwest of the post.
The statement says the injured crew member was taken to a
treatment center with injuries that are not considered
The names of the crew members have not been released.
